The first two seasons of Critical Role animated show The Legend of Vox Machina have been made available for free on YouTube ahead of the October 3 premiere of Season 3 on Prime Video.
Amazon has uploaded all 24 episodes of The Legend of Vox Machina, 12 from Season 1 and 12 from Season 2, to its Prime Video YouTube channel, marking their first release outside of its own streaming service.
The streaming service is no doubt hoping viewers will check out the first two seasons for free before signing up to its paid subscription to watch Season 3.
The Legend of Vox Machina is an adaptation of the original Critical Role campaign, a YouTube series itself which saw a group of famous voice actors play Dungeons & Dragons together under the guise of dungeon master Matthew Mercer.
The show has only grown in popularity over the years and is now deep into Campaign 3, leading to myriad spin-offs and adaptations like The Legend of Vox Machina animated series.
Season 3 will see the party visit Dis, the second layer of the Nine Hells, as they look to gain power and overcome the dragon overlords destroying the world. In our 9/10 review of Season 1's premiere, IGN said: "The three-episode premiere of The Legend of Vox Machina delivers a perfect amount of absurdity and heart."
