Chance Perdomo, the star who played Andre Anderson on Gen V and Ambrose Spellman on Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, has died at the age of 27.
As reported by Variety, Perdomo died following a tragic motorcycle accident where no one else was involved.
"It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Chance Perdomo’s untimely passing as a result of a motorcycle accident," Perdomo's publicist said in a statement. "Authorities have advised that no other individuals were involved. His passion for the arts and insatiable appetite for life was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth will carry on in those who he loved dearest. We ask to please respect the family’s wish for privacy as they mourn the loss of their beloved son and brother.”
Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures also released a statement, saying, "The entire Gen V family is devastated by the sudden passing of Chance Perdomo."
"Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television extend our heartfelt thoughts and support to Chance's family and all who loved him at this difficult time."
The producers of Gen V had a few more words to share on the late star.
"We can't quite wrap our heads around this," the statement reads. "For those of us who knew him and worked with him, Chance was always charming and smiling, an enthusiastic force of nature, an incredibly talented performer, and more than anything else, just a very kind, lovely person. Even writing about him in the past tense doesn't make sense.
"We are so sorry for Chance's family, and we are grieving the loss of our friend and colleague. Hug your loved ones tonight."

Perdomo was born on October 19, 1996, in Los Angeles, California, and he and his mother then moved to Southampton in Hampshire, England. His plan was originally to go into Law, but he instead moved to London to pursue acting and joined the National Youth Theatre and learned at the Identity School of Acting.
His first professional credit was as Henry Goodall in Hetty Feather, but Netflix's Chilling Adventures of Sabrina was his big break that ran from 2018 - 2020. Prior to securing his role in Gen V, he starred in a few projects, including After We Fell, Moominvalley, After Every Happy, and After Everything.
According to Variety, Gen V's second season has been "delayed indefinitely" following this tragic news.
