Deadpool 3 has officially wrapped filming, with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman sharing heartfelt messages to commemorate the occasion.
Reynolds thanked the cast and crew of Marvel Studios' Deadpool 3 on X/Twitter alongside a crotch shot of his suited-up superhero. He also made reference to the delay caused by the SAG-AFTRA strike, which pushed the movie's release date back from May 3 to July 26, as one of the many hurdles they had to overcome.

"A giant and forever thanks to the cast and crew of our film who battled wind, rain, strikes and @RealHughJackman... all under the stalwart leadership of @ShawnLevyDirect.
"I got to make a movie with my closest pals and that doesn't happen very often. See ya July 26th," he added.
Jackman also penned a post to shout out the cast and crew of Deadpool 3, along with Reynolds and director Shawn Levy, as he officially signed off after filming his final scenes. He also shared three photos to document his post-production activities, which involved a trim and tidy-up to shed his signature Wolverine facial hair.

The first photo from the set showed the two actors side-by-side in their superhero outfits, with Jackman sporting Wolverine's fan-favourite yellow and blue suit made famous by the X-Men comics. It's the first time Jackman has worn his character's classic costume, so it drummed up quite a lot of excitement for the film.
Deadpool 3 is the only MCU movie scheduled for 2024, so it has attracted plenty of attention and more than a few spoilers, set leaks, and photos in recent months. We still don't have an official synopsis, but it sounds like fans should expect a "raw, audacious, very much R-rated" outing when Deadpool 3 hits theaters on July 26.
