Suicide Squad ISEKAI Trailer Sees Joker, Harley Quinn, and More DC Favourites Wreak Havoc

Warner Bros. has released a trailer for Suicide Squad ISEKAI, an all-new anime series following DC's most notorious criminals on a dangerous mission to an otherworldly realm.

The trailer offers an extended look at the upcoming anime series, following a teaser trailer in July, with better looks at Joker, Harley Quinn, and several other fan-favourite DC characters as Amanda Waller assembles a ragtag group to traverse "a world of swords and magic where orcs rampage and dragons rule the skies".

The description of the YouTube video for the trailer reveals a 2024 release window for the anime alongside details of the main cast, unveiling Anna Nagase as the voice of Harley Quinn, Reigo Yamaguchi as the voice of Deadshot, Takehito Koyasu as Peacemaker, Jun Fukuyama as Clayface, and Subaru Kimura as King Shark.

The Joker does not appear to be part of the elite task force led by Waller, but he will still have a significant role in the series, wreaking havoc in the crime-ridden city of Gotham. Voicing the popular DC character is Yuuichirou Umehara, who some anime fans might know for his longstanding role as the Goblin Slayer.

Suicide Squad ISEKAI is a collaboration between Warner Bros. and Wit Studio. Eri Osada directs the anime from a screenplay written by Tappei Nagatsuki and Eiji Umehara, with character designs by Naoto Hosoda from drafts pencilled by Akira Amano. The music hails from Kenichiro Suehiro, with Tomoyasu Hotei providing the "Another World" opening theme song for the series, premiering globally in 2024.
