Halo Season 2 Paramount Plus Release Date Seemingly Revealed in Leak

The second season of Paramount's Halo TV show looks set to premiere on February 8, 2024.

Paramount+ surprised people by making the entire first season of Halo available on YouTube to stream free of charge in the U.S. The description for the videos in the playlist apparently noted that fans can "stream every episode of Halo on Paramount+ and catch up before the new season streaming February 8."

X/Twitter user @Mr_Rebs_ shared a screenshot of the Season 2 premiere announcement in the description before others reported the swift removal of the sentence from the text, indicating a premature leak of the information.

While this isn't concrete confirmation of the release date, as it could be subject to change until an official announcement, fans have been waiting in anticipation for an update on the series ever since cameras started rolling on Season 2 of Halo in September last year, with many hoping for news at CCXP or The Game Awards.

The Game Awards is a major ceremony honoring achievements in the games industry. It also opens the floor to new unannounced projects and gives developers and publishers the opportunity to share details on existing and upcoming games. This year's event will take place on December 7, with streams on YouTube and Twitch.

If you haven't already given it a watch, now might be a good time to catch up on the Halo TV show. IGN's review called the series "good," noting that it "isn't a perfect adaptation of the games," but "it succeeds in expanding the series' mythology and taking a more character-driven approach to Master Chief's adventures."
