Gen V, the college-based spin-off series from the world of The Boys, is set to premiere on Prime Video on September 29, 2023, and IGN will be hosting an ongoing sweepstakes that will reward those of you with the power of prediction! Each week, you will be able to guess what you think will happen in the newest episode of Gen V, and the winners will be rewarded with some serious cash (up to $5,000!)
So, how can you win? Head to https://gen-v.ign.com/ every Monday through Thursday to select three predictions out of a list of 60 that you think will happen on Gen V’s weekly episode that is released on Friday. The choices will appear in a dropdown menu, and will include such absurd things as a toilet exploding, a head blowing up, someone being impaled on a flag pole, etc. This is the world of The Boys after all, so it should be pretty safe to expect an equal amount of shocking moments we won’t soon forget. All in all, there will be 24 choices that will actually happen in the show (starting off with 9 for the first week and then 3 each one after) and we can’t wait to see who walks away the champion.
Each correct guess will earn you a different amount of points - which are appropriately called Vought Coin - and the amount earned each week will increase. Regardless of whether you’re a late bloomer or you joined later in the season, you’ll still have a chance to win, even though your margin for error will be slim.
Scores will be tallied each week and the fan with the most Vought Coin at the end of the season will win $5,000. If there happens to be a tie when it’s all said and done, a tiebreaker will be used where the players will need to guess how many named characters will die in the finale. There will be a slider from 1-40, and a -1 penalty will be applied for each number off from the correct answer. While there will only be one grand prize winner at the end, 10 lucky fans will have a chance to win $500 cash by simply entering their email address when submitting their picks.
Furthermore, there will be another sweepstakes for Twitter/X users where 10 $100 cash prizes will be given out each week of the season. To enter, you will need to comment on the corresponding IGN social post using #IGNSweepstakes #GenVDishonorRoll, and a random winner will be picked from there. When done, the site will ask you to enter a username, email address, and legal name, and your account will let you keep track of your score.
