Star Wars Fans Think Ahsoka May Share a Connection With Jedi: Fallen Order

Warning: The below contains full spoilers for Ahsoka, now streaming on Disney+.

Star Wars fans think Ahsoka may share a connection with the 2019 video game Jedi: Fallen Order after spotting a curious detail in the background of a scene in the latest episode of the Disney+ series.

The sixth episode of Ahsoka, titled "Far, Far Away", journeyed to an entirely new distant galaxy on the pathway to planet Peridea, aka the ancient homeworld of the Dathomiri Nightsisters occupied by vast, barren wastelands and a colossal stone temple that features some interesting inscriptions on its exterior walls.

Some eagle-eyed viewers noticed the symbols in the background of a scene with Grand Admiral Thrawn, Morgan Elsbeth, Shin Hati, and Baylan Skoll, and they quickly established a link between the hieroglyphs in the episode and similar markings that featured in Respawn's Jedi: Fallen Order - as pictured in screengrabs shared on X.

Reddit users also pondered the discovery, with one person asking: "Are the hieroglyphics on the Nightsister's fortress Zeffo markings?" The question is valid, considering the ancient Zeffo species (residing on Zeffo in the Outer Rim) were responsible for the etchings Cal Kestis stumbled upon in Jedi: Fallen Order.

Naturally, the inclusion of this apparent Easter egg in Ahsoka prompted fans to do some further digging. X user @Tommyjwall rotated the runes by 180 degrees and translated them from ur-Kittât, an ancient language adopted by the Sith, aka The Old Tongue, into English to unlock the writing on the wall (literally).

The translated message from Ahsoka apparently reads: "(P)RAISE KUJET RULER OF ALL MAY HIS REIGN LAST FOR AL..." Kujet was a Zeffo Sage who fell to the dark side and sat in a secluded seat of power in The Tomb of Kujet, a Zeffonian palace on Dathomir, known simply as Kujet's Tomb in Jedi: Fallen Order.

As a result of this discovery, fans started to speculate over the possibility of seeing some "Zeffo action" in Ahsoka. Some people think the Easter egg could have broader implications for the story and future events, while others believe it might open the door for Jedi: Fallen Order characters to make their live-action debuts.

The Star Wars franchise is known for including secret tidbits and teases linking back to the galaxy far, far away (including a recent one found on Baylan Skoll's wrist device), though it is often up for debate whether they have any significance to the stories or are simply fun little Easter eggs for viewers to discover.

If you would like to weigh in on the debate, you might need to watch last week's installment again (and it's certainly worthy of repeat viewings). IGN called Ahsoka Episode 6 an "amazing" chapter, noting that it offers "villainous plots with a side of cute critters" as "the action moves to a new galaxy far, far away".
