Every Cancelled and Ending TV Show Announced in 2023

This list contains shows whose networks made their cancellation announcements in 2023, even if a show won't air its final season until 2024.

We're keeping track of all of the TV shows that have been cancelled, or ended, or announced to be ending here in 2023.

You'll find shows like Succession, Barry, Star Trek: Picard, and Reservation Dogs which ended things on their own terms, as far as we know, mixed with -- well -- the utter annihilation of The CW's Arrowverse and YA programming. The Flash and Riverdale wrapped up while newbies Gotham Knights and The Winchesters never stood a chance.

Also, as the streaming bubble bursts big time, combined with the AMPTP's refusal to meet the demands of striking actors and writers, all new phenomenons have poppped up. The first is the "unrenewal," which is a show that was picked up for more but then - psych! - the studio changes its mind. GLOW never getting its Season 4 still stings but this year you can find A League of Their Own and Snowpiercer joining the list.

Add to this now "deplatforming," which is when a show not only gets cancelled but erased. Taken down from the streaming site. Disney+ and Hulu were recent perpetrators of this with The Mysterious Benedict Society, Alaska Daily, The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers, and more.
