Apple TV+ has released the first trailer for its highly anticipated Godzilla spin-off Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, offering a teaser before the series starts streaming on Nov. 17.
The series stars father-son duo Kurt and Wyatt Russell, portraying the same character at different ages, and explores three generations of monster-related intrigue and the earth-shattering events that can reverberate through lives, particularly when it comes to the rumbling roar of the legendary kaiju Godzilla.

The footage offers viewers a few early clues to the mystery at the heart of the story as it introduces two siblings trying to uncover their family's connection to the shadowy Monarch organization. The trail leads them into the world of monsters and down a rabbit hole to Army Officer Lee Shaw, played by the Russells.
Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, Ren Watabe, Mari Yamamoto, Anders Holm, Joe Tippett, and Elisa Lasowski round out the cast alongside Kurt and Wyatt. The teaser also features John Goodman making a cameo appearance, reprising his role as William "Bill" Randa from the 2017 Legendary Pictures film Kong: Skull Island.
Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is a 10-episode MonsterVerse series co-created and executive produced by Matt Fraction and Chris Black. Joby Harold, Tory Tunnell, Hiro Matsuoka, and Takemasa Arita also executive produce alongside Matt Shakman who directs the first two episodes, which will drop on that Nov. 17 premiere date followed by weekly releases.
