Netflix has announced that Bridgerton Season 4 will focus on the love story of bohemian second son Benedict, played by Luke Thompson.
The streaming service confirmed the news on Tudum and X/Twitter alongside a video unmasking Benedict as the newest suitor. "It has been brought to this author's attention that perhaps it is time to unmask the newest suitor of the marriage mart…" the post read. "Benedict Bridgerton's story is coming next season."

This season will follow the events of Julia Quinn's third Bridgerton novel, An Offer From a Gentleman, and the logline for the new season confirms it: "Despite his elder and younger brothers both being happily married, Benedict is loath to settle down -- until he meets a captivating Lady in Silver at his mother's masquerade ball."
"Benedict has always been a little lost — or free, depending on the way you want to look at it," Thompson told Tudum of his character, who he has portrayed over the past three seasons. "But now he's trying to find something a bit more solid in himself."
The fourth season of Bridgerton will have eight episodes, but Netflix has yet to announce a premiere date. The third season was across two parts, which premiered on May 16 and June 13, 2024, respectively, and told the love story of Penelope and Colin from the fourth book, putting Benedict's turn in the spotlight on hold until now.
