A blurb attached to new Star Wars merchandise has seemingly leaked the return of a beloved Prequel Trilogy character in upcoming Disney+ series Ahsoka.
As reported by SWNN, an Amazon listing for an officially licensed t-shirt depicting Hera Syndulla (played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead) lists a handful of characters already confirmed to be in the show alongside a certain returning Jedi.
This character, and final warning for potential Star Wars: Ahsoka spoilers, is Anakin Skywalker. "Stop looking for fashion help in Alderaan places," reads the Amazon blurb.
"Transport yourself to a galaxy far, far away with cool new apparel featuring Ahsoka Tano, Sabine Wren, Anakin Skywalker, Mon Mothma, and all your favourite Star Wars: Ahsoka characters."
The titular Ahsoka, played by Rosaria Dawson, is obviously a mainstay in the series, while Sabine Wren (Liu Bordizzo) is making the jump to live action from Star Wars: Rebels and Mon Mothma (Genevieve O'Reilly) is shifting over from Andor and Rogue One.
Anakin was rumoured to appear in the series, which revolves around his former Padawan Ahsoka, after anonymous sources claimed Hayden Christensen was on board in a 2021 report. The actor appeared in the Obi-Wan series in 2022 and will seemingly take on a similar role here.
Given Anakin, or Darth Vader, is already dead at the time of Ahsoka, which takes place post-Return of the Jedi in the New Republic Era, his involvement will likely be limited to flashbacks.
The first two episodes of Ahsoka will premiere on Disney+ on August 23, while the remaining six episodes will be released each week. A trailer released earlier in July finally gave fans a look at Lars Mikkelsen's Thrawn, alongside other characters like Baylan Skoll, played by the late Ray Stevenson who died aged 58 earlier this year.
