Marvel Studios has released the first full trailer for the upcoming second season of Loki, which will debut on Disney+ on October 6.
The trailer puts Ke Huy Quan's new MCU character "OB" front-and-center, as Tom Hiddleston's God of Mischief and Owen Wilson's Mobius pay him a visit in the TVA's Repairs and Advancements department. He immediately identifies that Loki has fallen victim to a phenomenon known as time-slipping after he glitches and disappears.
Unfortunately, OB doesn't have a solution, and a whole load of multiversal mayhem ensues from that point on. The timeline jumps between the past and present, showing more shenanigans from Sophia Di Martino's Loki variant Sylvie, an apparent rampage from Miss Minutes, and the growing threat of cataclysmic war.
According to the synopsis, the second season of Loki "promises new excitement as it thrusts the infamous God of Mischief into a new set of adventures with the TVA," joined by friends and foes he has met along the way, including returning actors Eugene Cordero, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Rafael Casal, Jonathan Majors, and more.
The titular character is (quite literally) the face of the latest poster. The image teases the infamous trickster's time-hopping escapades as he goes up against the clock, travelling across an increasingly dangerous multiverse to track down Sylvie, Judge Renslayer, and Miss Minutes after the events of the first season.
Marketing for the show has started to ramp up as we move closer to its October premiere date. Another poster unveiled Friday triggered an exciting new countdown by marking "T-minus 100,000 minutes" until Loki Season 2 hits streaming with an image showing multiple variants running around Miss Minutes' clockface.
