The Marvels Trailer Reveals First Look at MCU's Team-Up Trio in Action

Marvel Studios has released a teaser trailer for The Marvels, offering a first look at Carol Danvers, Monica Rambeau, and Kamala Khan in action as the MCU's newest cosmic team.

The trailer picks up right where Ms. Marvel left off and sees Iman Vellani's Kamala Khan teaming up with Brie Larson's Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel, and Carol's estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau, to work in concert to save the universe.

Nia DaCosta directs the new movie from a screenplay she penned with Megan McDonnell, Elissa Karasik, and Zeb Wells. Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige is the producer while Louis D'Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Mary Livanos, and Matthew Jenkins all serve as executive producers.

This exciting new footage was first revealed behind closed doors at the D23 Expo 2022. However, Marvel Studios has allowed several months to elapse before publicly sharing the trailer after shifting the theatrical release of The Marvels from July 28, 2023, to November 10, 2023.

The delay followed a report that Marvel is potentially putting the brakes on the number of projects it wants to release in a year. The report was mostly focused on TV, however, and said that Loki's second season and Secret Invasion are the only "sure bets" to make it out in 2023.

The wait for the next MCU film isn't too far away though, as Star-Lord and his gang of space misfits will get an emotional sendoff in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 when it hits theaters on May 5.
