Super Mario Bros. Movie's Latest Poster Shows Off Piranha Plants, Banzai Bill, and More

The Super Mario Bros. Movie has shared yet another poster for fans to dig their teeth into, and this one is packed with Super Mario easter eggs.

The poster was shared on the movie's Twitter account, and it shows Mario jumping with his fist in the air, recreating an iconic Mario pose seen throughout the years. In the background, we see some new takes on some classic Mario enemies and obstacles, with Peach's castle sitting off in the distance. Take a look at the new poster for yourself below.

The poster's scene appears to be set in Mario's platforming training ground before he, Peach, and Toad set off to save Luigi, as seen in the second trailer. On the left of the poster, we see some mechanical Piranha Plants, with Super Mario World's Banzai Bill flying in the air above them.

A ton of classic Super Mario obstacles are also present, including Brick Blocks, Rotating Blocks that begin moving when Mario steps on them, Beat Blocks that disappear in line with the music, Donut Blocks that fall when stepped on, and more.

Marketing for The Super Mario Bros. Movie is really ramping up ahead of the film's April 7 release date. Last week's Super Mario Bros. Movie poster gave us a detailed look at the characters, along with Bowser and Peach's respective castles.

We've also seen a handful of trailers and teasers, with the most recent TV spot showcasing Seth Rogen's Donkey Kong and the Cat Mario suit. There's also an extended clip of Mario's introduction to pipe travel.
